Question Web Browser Control Doesn't Display Web Image (Only Hyperlink)

This is my first time using a web browser control and it doesn't seem to be working.

I add a web browser control with a target link and the only thing displayed is a hyperlink to the target. I've tried in both a form and report.

From reading about this control I see others are able to use it to display a webpage (or image from the web). I'm hoping to use it to display an image from the web.

What do I need to do to get it to actually display the content instead of the hyperlink only?

    TIA.
    Amy

Can't you just open a web browser via the link?

There may be hundreds of image links in the table. We want the images to be displayed on the report.

From reading about the web browser control it seems that's what this is supposed to do but it's not working.

is the hyperlink stored as a hyperlink or a text field? might make a difference. You need to set the controlsource of the web control to the name of the field

However be aware hyperlinks usually just go to a page, not an image on that page

I discovered the problem. I was in a continuous form in which the web browser control isn't available. I was using the hyperlink control by mistake.

Trying the web browser control in a blank form worked exactly as expected. (Note: I'm saddened to see that this control isn't available on a report at all.)

    Thank you for the help.
