Save an embedded image in a MS Access 2010 Data Entry Pop Up form to Windows 10 systems Pictures u

A image was copied and pasted from a website into an unboundedImage Control(named Picture).

The following is the storage path:
    C:\Users\Johnson\Pictures\Projects\CustomerHome\En tryStairs1.jpg
The image would be saved when the “Save” button is clickedand the saved image’s path would be saved in Picture1 Text field in theunderlying table. Other forms and reports will show the then linked picture.

Does paste not show as an option on the destination? I copied and pasted the green couch on the left in your footer into my form(an image controll).

Your reputation points icons I bet.

EDIT - not sure what we're dealing with as there is no such thing as an unbound image control, no? It's just an image control, and no, I cannot paste into one either. There is an unbound object frame though...

Ok, green points icon does sort of look like a couch.

An image control does not have to be bound to field but I still cannot simply paste into.

I have never had good experience with OLEObject field and controls. When I try to install unbound OLEObject control on form just get dll error.

I copy images from websites and paste them into an image control in which the control in Data is blank or unbounded, all the time. I have no idea what is causing your problem. Perhaps, put you problem on this site as your own question.

Not a problem for me because I don't need it. Just sorry I cannot help you.

If you want to provide db for analysis, follow instructions at bottom of my post.

Doesn't work for me either, but not a problem. Would be interesting to watch you paste a pic in either an image control or unbound OLE control in form view though.

I tried copy/paste in design view.

It creates a new control on form.

Still don't know what OP is doing.
