This is what I am trying to do.
I have a database I use for entering Work Orders. I have been cutting and pasting the table to an excel sheet after I enter the data. This excel sheet is used by others who may enter resolution data that needs to be updated in my database but the only way I can discover it is to search it out.
What I would like to do is link the DB and Excel sheet so when something is entered in either it is updated in the other.
The only purpose for the excel sheet is that old dogs don't like new tricks and don't want to use the database. Of course as you know the database is easier to manipulate which is why I am using it.
The excel workbook has multiple sheets (months). If you can only link one sheet I may be able to convince them they can filter it.
Is linking what I should be doing or should I continue to cut and paste?
