App crashes when I copy the database

The original database works fine, but when I copy it I get these warnings.

And then I get this which is the death sentence for my database, at least the copy I was trying to open. All my code has vanished.

I tried this six ways from Sunday to open a copy and this happened every time. As a last ditch attempt I created a blank database and imported all the objects and code. I got a few error to begin with, but when I commented them out it seems to be working, but I'm still a little gun shy cause I've never seen this happen to a database. I'll probably to back to an older version, but I'm concerned this might happen again.

It's quitting time here, so I'll pick up any messages in the morning.
    Thanks in advance.

Try decompiling the original database after First making a backup.
Then compact and finally copy using Save As

it sounds like corruption. I too have lost a form or object and it wont open and it wont save. It may not even delete.
I would delete it, and import the broken objects from a good backup db.

That's what I did, sort of. The offending objects were mostly left over from previous version. I just didn't import them.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I've never seen an app fail simply by copying it.
