Cross tab with just 2 fields

I want to transpose my table to show State as row heading and pid's as column heading pid1, pid2, pid3 what is the best way to do this

What function should I chose from the drop down to display just pid's as value

make Q1 to get the data you want.
then use the query wizard to make a Crosstab query (Q2) that uses Q1 as the source.
    pick the items for :
    row field
    col field
    intersecting value field
