How to to get a count on attachments within a form to display a numeric value

    Hi,

I am trying to get on my form a field that counts my attachments, so I can quickly look at a form and it shows me how many attachments. So from the example below there are multiple pdfs under media releases - but it only shows one icon, I then want a field that counts those pdfs and provides a value - say for example 4

you can use the attachmentcount property - see this link https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/off...ttachmentcount

never tried it but I would guess your control source would be

    =nameofattachementfield.attachementcount

Thank you - I looked at that and it doesn't work. I then wondered if I did a query and then ran a macro within the form - whether that would work..
