Switchboard Problems - Items not visible

    Greetings,

With my new job, I'm getting back into Access after several years. We are working on Win10 with Office 365 and Access 2016. I have a work-in-progress database. The database is split with the BE on the server.
I have a switchboard with the 1st "parent link" on the main default page. Within that I have 4 links to some forms. I'm trying to create a 2nd "parent link" on the main default page but nothing will show up on the switchboard Form view. The switchboard table reflects the links I created using the switchboard manager, but they won't populate to the switchboard form. I can continue to add links under the 1st category but that's it.
I tried created the link from the switchboard table but it will not populate. I also tried doing this from both the front end table and backend table. I'm stumped.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Brent

Maybe if you attach the file you can better understand the problem

FWIW, any time someone posts about the Access switchboard form (the built in one) someone else often comments that they're too flaky and temperamental to work with and that you should "roll your own".

I sure hope you meant the Access switchboard form is flaky and temperamental, NOT the OP!!

That's funny ssanfu. I had to reread it too!

So the suggestion is to build a my own switchboard on a Form because the built in one has continual problems. Got it. You'd think with as long as Access has been around, the bugs should be worked out by now.

Yet he didn't ask how anyone could be a 'built in one'.
