Help setting up employee access levels to sensitive areas of DB. No pun intended.

Before I start to reinvent the wheel, and Im sure this has been done a million times already. Can anyone save me the time of building employee authorization to certain levels. Just some forms and tables i could pop into my database and then tweek to make work. I just dont want sales employees opening employees forms or other areas.
Sorry if this sounds lazy, but I am.
If not, ok. I'll get started.
