Exclamation Change/add argument's value of an existing method

I am new to access database VBA programming, so I would appreciate if any one could guide me through this problem.
Is there a way to add more values to arguments of an existing method?

for example, let's say expression.CreateReportControl (ReportName, ControlType, Section, Parent, ColumnName, Left, Top, Width, Height) has some arguments, and some have their own values ( such as 'Section'). Can I add my own value to the list of recommended values? like an 'acgroupheaderx' ?

    Would appreciate the help.

    The short answer is 'no'.

Why are you programmatically adding controls?
How to attach file: To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

I agree with June, but it seems a rather complex question for someone new to Access vba programming.
Is there some issue/problem/opportunity prompting your question?
