I have a form with a data field entitled "Comments". I have set this field as "long text" but the forms will not allow any data beyond maybe 3 sentences. I don't see anything in the properties sheet that clues me in.

Perhaps in the table field you set a character limit of say 100 or so?
The more we hear silence, the more we begin to think about our value in this universe.
Paraphrase of Professor Brian Cox.
That's what I initially thought, but the short text defaults to 255 and long text doesn't even give a "field size" option.
Sorry, forgot that.
It is possible to bind a control to a memo/long text field but set the control property to plain text. I would expect that to override the table setting but I don't know for sure. If that's not it, then is the control is bound to a table or query, and what happens if you try to enter more than a few lines worth via the query or table? That ought to pinpoint the form as the problem if you can.
I'll give that a shot and let you know. Thanks!
Mr. PATRICKPBME I am also facing this problem. but still not find any solution. But I have tried online and with the consult of someone and found that his Office 2016 is working at this issue which is copying over 255 texts but I could not solve this problem at my office. So I have tried to do a different way. I used M.S office 2007 to resolve this issue and its working perfect for this purpose. I have installed twice offices in my PC.
Thanks. My confusion is that I have never had this problem in the past. Just weird.
