Hello, I am fairly new to Access and I am trying to accomplish something I thought would be easy but there is so much info on here I'm not sure where to start.
I am creating some standard assemblies and each assembly will have a BOM (Created in AutoCAD). Currently I can pull a report listing all the items required per assembly but it lists them all in 1 row per assembly. I attached the output excel file (see tab "Summary"). If you look at the Sheet 1 tab, that is how the info should be.
The end game for this report is for someone to be able to select several assemblies, note the qty of each that they need and then create a report showing the total items they need to create all the assemblies. I am open to other options and suggestions. Also I don't mind research just need a little (or alot) of direction.
