Update Query now corrupt - rebuilding / importing from backup / using old copy of front end fails

    Hi All,

As per the title, an update query has suddenly become corrupt.

I’ve tried re building the query, importing it from a backupand using an older version of the front end and I have the same result everytime.

This leads me to thinking there is data in one of the tablesthat is causing the corruption?

    Any other ideas?

side note: Why is the thread entry form so poor here? The curserconstantly flicks and it misses keystrokes so often it’s almost unbearable. IE11

The query is corrupt message is due to a flawed Office update dated 12 Nov and affects all versions of Access from 2010 onwards.
The fix is now available for most versions with the remaining ones due next week.
In the meantime there are various workarounds.

hmm, I'm utilising Office 2013 Pro 64 bit but the download package states no affected programs and the office update says I'm up to date..

Do you have the MSI or C2R version of A2013?
The MSI fix is now available. If you have C2R, you have to wait another few days for the fix
