    You didn't follow the instructions and do a "Compact and Repair" before compressing the dB.



    You really need to read about normalization. Right now, your table designs are like a spreadsheet. Access does not work like Excel.

    In table "NFL TEAMS NAMES ALL 32 TEAMS", the names of the teams SHOULD NOT be field names.
    In table "NFL SCHEDULE TABLE", you have repeating fields, spaces, punctuation and special characters in object names. These should be fixed.


    Attached is a zip with
    - the OP original Excel spreadsheet,
    - the 2016 dB (compacted & repaired) and
    - the dB converted to 2010.

    There were 2 fields in table "NFL SCHEDULE TABLE" that were LONG NUMBER. The 2 fields are for team averages, so I changed them to DOUBLE.
