    Additional Text in a Form

    Hi,

Apologies for this question probably being very basic!

I have successfully created a database and a form that when a button is clicked creates a copy and exports to pdf for emailing. However, I now need to add some standard Terms and Conditions at the end of the form that is duplicated on every export. These do not change - they are always the same. The Terms and Conditions take up several pages in Word. I am having great difficulty in being able to put these on my form, maintaining formatting etc. Any ideas how this can be done? I did initially think about an unbound text box with Rich Text. This works, however every time the form is closed it wipes the contents of the text box as the data is not stored anywhere. I am trying to avoid the user having to manually enter the T&Cs or attaching them manually every time!

    Thanks in advance

I would start by not using the form. Use a report instead, based on the form records or perhaps better, a query. Have the standard text in a table and make it part of the report record source. Output the report instead. If you must output the form, have the text (from the table) be part of the form's recordsource.
