    Added two new fields in Access database and then attempted to add them to a form. They attached


    Added two new fields to my database. Then attempted to add them to a form using add existing fields pane, and they attached themselves together. Don't understand why and can't separate them. Tried deleting one and readding it . Reattached itself again to last field added.

    Sounds like you are referring to a layout. Select either and if they're both selected, they are part of a layout. Then right click, go to layout and select Remove (if memory serves).
