    linked tables issues

Hi I have some linked tables listed as: "G:\Documents\QA Database\Data.XLS"

    which works fine, but

other users have this drive labelled differently, for example "Z:\Documents\QA Database\Data.XLS"

So when other users run my queries they don't work!

Is there any way to get around this?

You shouldn't rely on mapped drives for this sort of thing - always use a UNC path

    "\\Fileserver\share1\QA Database\etc"

    DLookup Syntax and others http://access.mvps.org/access/general/gen0018.htm

Use UNC paths instead of mapped drives for your linked tables.
    See: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/...use-a-unc-path
