Flashing colored text in the status line/bar ??

There is a lot of code out there - but way too bulky and over-spfisticated I think !

I like the Occams Razor = a very early version of the KISS princip.

I need a SIMPLE code for this - a flashing colored text in the status line/ bar !

    Do you have any ?

Its easy to add text to the status bar and to use a timer to remove it so it flashes.
I've never seen coloured text on the status bar however.

If you want it simple, add a label with coloured flashing text to your form instead.
This is one of the items in my example database showing ways of getting users' attention

    Hope that helps

If its important enough for you to have the feature, I'm sure you could make the space...

    EDIT
However I see you've now asked a question about almost exactly what I suggested at https://www.access-programmers.co.uk...d.php?t=307597
