Are list boxes in reports limited?

I finally have my calendar form working the way I want. I copied the text boxes and list boxes from the form to the report so I can print it. I made the appropriate changes to the list boxes so they get the information correctly. However, I can only put 7 list boxes in the report. Any more than 7, I get an error.

Why are you using listboxes on report?

I just built a report with 10 listboxes and no error.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

You can have a maximum of 255 connections in Access.
Each open object uses 1 or more connections - tables, queries, recordsets, forms, reports including combos/listboxes on each of these.
If you reach/approaches the limit that rather misleading error occurs.

The solution is to close all objects no longer needed and destroy any recordsets opened after use.
To monitor the connections in use, try this utility http://www.mendipdatasystems.co.uk/a...ons/4594418530

I'm using list boxes because that's how I was taught to make a calendar.

That program showed that I had 251 open connections. I still got the same error.

I removed all the row sources from all the list boxes in the report except for seven. I attempted to open another report, and got the same error.

Apparently, Access did not like where I got the information from. When I moved the information to a form and then opened the report based on that form, it worked fine. I didn't want to go that route, but it works.
