    Ranking based on Season

The rank formula works, but I would like to have it seperate ranking by season and not by the entire list.

    Code:
    PtRank: IIf(IsNull([Points]),[Rank],DCount("*","IndyCARTeamT","Points>" & [Points])+1)
There is a field called [Season] that is a 4 digit year. I have tried using [Season]=[Season] in place of "*" but no change.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks Jim O

    Maybe:

    PtRank: IIf(IsNull([Points]),[Rank],DCount("*","IndyCARTeamT","Points>" & [Points] & " AND Season=" & [Season]) +1)

That is giving me a result like 1 AND Season=2018. I just want each season to return a rank for that season only. Season 2018 would have a list of 1 thru however many are in that season and then 2019 would list starting at 1.

Well, don't really know why you are using this in Nz() function.

I had to edit my expression. Probably read post before that. Look at again.
