    Designing a database

I want to design a database to allow me to monitor my patients while on long term antibiotic treatments. Each will be on different regimes that might require weekly or monthly blood test monitoring. I would like to be able to enter the regime and the monitoring required into a table, and then use the database to remind me when a blood test is due. So each week I could run a query and it would tell me who was due a blood test. This would continue until the regime finished then the patient would be archived.
At the same time, I would like to be able to add the blood test abnormalities. these would be categorised as mild, mod, severe for the fields kidney, liver, skin, etc.

each patient may need repeated regimes at different times

in addition, the regime may change part way through and the monitoring required also need to change.

    is this too complicated?

No not too complicated, but its not trivial.
I've done if for lab tests so there's a lot do do there.

Can you upload a zipped copy of the tables you currently have?

Look at this site and see if one of the medical schemas work for you http://www.databaseanswers.org/data_models/
