    Access 2007 Yes/No Criteria Problem

    A have a simple database.

When running a query (whether just as a query or part of a form) the yes/no criteria is slowing the system down badly.

If yes is selected the results appear immediately. If no is selected it can take 5 minutes.

Any advice on this would be great.

Do you have an index on that field in the table? Might help. What is the datatype of that yes/no field? Might try to have a text field length 1 and just use a Y or N value, make an index maybe too. If you are linking in other tables, might be another issue in another table causing the slow response also. Also how big is the data/query, how many records does it run through?
