Very basic query - Linked column is returning extra rows with incorrect value pairs (pic included)

I am brand new to Access and am having trouble figuring this out. Linked column isn't returning correct values.
Linked column (Batch) has exact same header/values for both tables, as do the Lines for each Batch.
The right table is what I would like the Query to return (correct values). The left is what it is returning. The total value for Line 1 is appearing twice for both Line 1 and 2, and the same for Line 2 value.

The data sets are very simple.
    Dataset1: Batch, Line, Total
    Dataset2: Batch, Line, Sampled

That would not be unusual for a 1-to-many relationship. Looks like a compound join on Batch and Line fields is needed.

Provide the query SQL statement. Sample raw data would also be helpful.

If you want to provide db for analysis, follow instructions at bottom of my post.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
