Problems with IE and this forum

I was advised by a forum member that he was having issues with IE and this site. I subsequently tried it myself and had issues. see https://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=77956 (posts >13) show some issues.

Has anyone else experienced problems with specific browsers and this site??
Is it isolated to specific version? or some common criteria?

Yes, I remember having those issues with IE. Now using Edge and no issues.

Now using Edge. No problems. Similarly in Firefox or Chrome
In IE, the tablet keyboard kept flickering and changing case. It was totally unusable
