Formatting Challenge in MS Access 2016 Form

I want a very quick help in editing a Form in MS Access 2016. Attached image has a form opened in Design View. Now here, as you can see in the Detail section first I have displayed some information about an employee like First/Last Name, ID, Store#, JD etc.. Down there, there are multiple tab controls.

I am making a very small change to add a value in a drop-down (Category) as highlighted under the first tab 'Request'. After making that change, I am saving and closing the form. After I re-open the form, I can see the new value under the drop-down as expected. But here I see an unexpected formatting change. When I go to any other tab, the upper section (which has the employee information) gets hidden. I can no longer see the upper part of the Detail section. I see only Form Header and the tab controls in Detail Section.

Basically, this form gets into this problem for any chnage that happen to it.

I am not sure whay that is happening and any help to fix this will be appreciated.

Thank You,Click image for larger version.

looks like you are using overlapping windows? In which case is the window tall enough to show the whole form?

Try removing the page break control just above your tab control. It shown as ….
You may also need to remove any layout guides if you are using them.

If I do not make any changes to the design, all the windows always show complete form. Attaching another snapshot of hidden portion of the form.

Hi isladogs - I have tried both of your suggestions, but the issue remains.

still looks to me like the form is taller than the window - suggest show the whole form rather than a bit of it

Have you got a vertical scrollbar on the main form? if not, display it, then see if you can move the form up and down

Yes, I do have the scroll in the main form, but it only appears in the design view not in Form view. Wondering why this issue appears only after making some design change/s otherwise by default it works well all the time.

have you tried increasing the height of the window, then opening the form?

Do you have surplus blank areas to the bottom of the form?

And show the full form in design view, you are only giving half the story. Otherwise provide a copy of the db - remove all forms/reports/tables etc that are not relevant to this issue. Also remove any sensitive data. Then compact the db and zip it before uploading.

It is also possible that your form has become corrupted. Particularly if multiple users are using the same front end

Thank you for help. I set the AutoResize property to Yes and it worked for me.
