    Using Pictures

I'm having a little fun with pictures. I have a main menu that I put a picture on. It is stretched over the whole form. I put text boxes on it. I'm hoping that I can make my text boxes be transparent so that the picture shows through it. Is that possible?

I'm having a little problem though. Every time I open a form, the picture refreshes. That kinda gets annoying. I was hoping that there was a way to stop that.

Not getting the refreshing. I used a PNG and it's set to Clip. What is yours?

I embedded a JPG. I have it set to stretch so it covers the entire form.

Hmm, then it might be the fact that you are stretching it. Can you get a larger image so you can use *Clip*?

I avoid using embedded pictures on forms for cosmetic purpose. It's just db bloat and distracting.

I get same behavior for JPG or PNG, stretch or clip. Nothing happens on picture form when opening another form.

That's interesting because I can't get it to happen no matter what I do. Wonder what the difference is?

Sorry, I meant behavior I observe is same regardless of settings but it is not what OP experiences. Nothing happens to menu form when opening another form. So I don't really understand what OP is describing.

Thanks for the clarification, still wonder what the difference is. I wonder if there is a control on the Form that is causing it?

Sounds like it's normal behavior whether or not it's embedded. I might go back and redo the way I put the pictures in later. It's a server thing.
