    running sum in report

I would like to have a running sum for the balance due for customers. I have an ID field, Customer name, meter readings etc. and balance due field. I would like to do a running sum on the balance due field. I have never done it before. Grateful for your help.

The running sum worked. THanksI have two reports a previous balance report . I am using just the BF total, and a current bill. I made the previous balance my main report and current balance my sub report. How do I get to add the two amount due fields to come up with a total due?
    Thanks
