Subform not limiting results of main form

Table 1 has a series of integer fields.

Query 1 Shows records from table 1 with value >= 2 for any of those integer fields.

Table 2 includes a field related to Table 1

I want a form that shows all records from Table 2 with records that result in Query 2. There will be multiple results in table 2 for each record in query1.

First I created a cross-tab query that displays the desired records from Table 2 and a form based on that query but the data is not editable since it is a cross tab query.

Next I created a Query just based on Table 1 then a Main form to show all records from Table 2 then added a subforum based on Query 1 thinking it would limit the results from table 2 to those that meet the criteria from query 1 but all records from Table 2 are displayed.

I will have to check to see if any of it is proprietary.

then a Main form to show all records from Table 2
That sounds backwards. Main form is typically the 1 record, subform the many.
    - "doesn't work" is no help. Post err msgs and where.
    - Use code tags for code/sql. Implement changes in copies of your database.
Sometimes I talk to myself - like when I need expert advice.
