    Vanishing Columns

In my query I have 2 columns A & B. I insert a 3rd column Tot:NZ(A) + NZ(B). It some times happens that A or B does not have any values and I get an error message Cannot Find A or Cannot find B. How to overcome this problem?

I suspect your query is referencing a crosstab query but pure guesswork without more information

suggest provide the sql to your query and some example data from the tables referenced by the query where you get the error message.

if you don't provide the value if Null parameter Nz returns either 0 or a zero length string (zls or "") according to web. Math with Null = Null.
Is there a reason why you don't provide a value if null?

In the attached db Smdr may or may not occur on any date. But it has to be included in the calculation in Qry_FN_F_TotMdrF. Hence it is giving error in this query. How to overcome this problem?

modify your daily totals crosstab to include the column headings you require, whether or not they have values. in query design you can find the column heading properties in the properties window. So it might be

    Adv, Mem, Vmdr, Smdr

other benefit (which you may have noticed) is by using column headings is you can set the order of the (calculated) columns
