Order for records is not what I expected for several reports

Attached is a DB for resident (patient) care. I created queries for several reports ordering by room in the query however the following reports sort alphabetically and I don't know why. Can anyone help?

You appear to have "Sorting and Grouping" set on these reports which overrides the sort order set in the query for the report.
Either change the sort order in "Sorting and Grouping" or remove it completely.

In addition to Bob's very sound advice, I personally would explicitly set the ordering in the report for how you want it.
That way if your underlying query changes in someway your report stays how you want it.
