Query criteria from data in Table field

    Hi

I've a query that contains usernames of all QC inspectors. When there is new QC inspector, a new username will be assigned to her. Then, I've to add this username in this query criteria.
I'm thinking of creating a new table and a new form for her supervisor to add the username in this table via this form.
Anyone knows how to get the query criteria from the username field in the table ?

Tell us about the query you are considering.
How do you add usernames, or QC inspectors now?

The query will provide records of the result of inspection carried out by the QC inspectors from MRP system.
For now, I've to open query design and add new username in the criteria.

Each QC inspector log in to MRP system using her own username.

So currently you are manually adjusting the query criteria.
I suggest you have a table to identify QC Inspectors and relevant details; and a form on which you can manage (ADD, MODIFY, DELETE) QC Inspectors (and associated details).
It is considered good design to have all interactions with tables via Forms.

Is your MRP system based on Access database or other?

Each inspector has to log into MRP system using her username. In this system, she will key in the inspection result. The MRP will capture her username in the System.
Access database is linked to MRP system.

??? How is Access interfacing with the ERP system? Which system is the authority if you have to enter data into 2 systems? Need more details of your architecture.
