    Exclamation Multiple Combo box filters

I have created a form and I am using 3 different combo boxes to filter the rest of the data in the field. So I have a filter for Team, Team Member, and their Objective. The problem is my 3 filters only work when all 3 have a selection. I want to make it so that if I only made a selection for Team and Objective or any other combination of the filters where one or two of them weren't selected it wouldn't filter for that field, but right now If I don't make a selection it just counts that field as filtering for a null value. The criteria I have set is "and" criteria for the 3 fields. Any Ideas? Thanks.

Tell us about your tables and what exactly are you filtering?
A sample with data would be helpful. you could even post the related vba.

Post Apply Combo Box Filter only when a Selection is made

I have 3 combo box filters to filter my form. Right now they only work when I have made a selection for all three filters. Is there a way to make it so your combo box filters only filter if you make a selection? i have Me.Requery in place for afterupdate event for all three. Thanks

    You probably need this method:

note it will make design view look pretty wonky. I tend towards dynamic SQL when I have multiple optional criteria.

I merged two threads that seemed to have the same question and both had replies.
