    Can't. Why would you need to have field that is just the current date?

    you can set the default value to date() or now() - which will automatically populate when the record is created - which may meet your needs.

    Shouldn't use calculated FIELDS in tables!
    Calculations are better done in queries.

    Also should stay away from Look up FIELDS and Multi-value FIELDS in tables.

Please reply to this thread with any new information or opinions.
