How to make unbound text boxes display values from a table that isn't the data source

I have several unbound text boxes on one of my reports that I would like to have display values from a table that isn't the data source for the report. I've tried a simple expression but when I go into report view, I'm asked to enter the parameter value for the unaffiliated table and the values end up showing as #Error. Here is the expression I'm using: =[tblFuelCardInfo]![FC_Number]

Thank you in advance for assistance with this and please let me know if a DB file or screenshots are needed.

You can't refer to an unrelated table value that way. Try a DLookup().

    the criteria is optional.
