by doing so, I lost those that does not have a space or an empty line.
No problem, right, because as my signature says, implement changes in copies? Then again, it would seem you ran my modifying expression (meant for an RTF field as twice noted) against your data rather than answer questions first. If that's what happened I'm sorry for you and hope it was on a table copy. If not, the lesson here may be to read everything that's posted for you and exercise some restraint, but most of all, answer questions that are posed for (usually) a good reason

Maybe my lesson is to not offer solutions if I don't get my questions answered.

Micron, no... you misunderstood me. I did not lose any info. I just was saying if i did what you suggested, which I tested in the testing BE database, some words got truncated. Ty so much as always.

BTW, Orange's suggestion should work... I just thought using Trim() should take care of these, but apparently not.

    Good stuff. Happy to help.

To emphasize Micron's point for reference--
    -always backup your data
-never adjust production data as a test
-create a copy of your database and perform any design/what "iffing" on the copy

We all tend to learn this the hard way, but forewarned is forearmed.
