Auto populate field in report based on another field

So I have a report that shows incidents at my retail stores; the incidents are auto imported in with the all the incident info, including the location that the incident took place. I'd like for each incident on the report to auto populate that location's manager. I have a table that has each location with the corresponding manager. Just not sure how to link it all together in the report

You'd create a query that includes both tables, with a join on the location field. That enables you to return fields from both tables.

Start a new query and add both tables to the grid. If a join line doesn't get added automatically, click-drag between the location fields in the two tables. Select the fields you want displayed and run the query.

Is one of the fields one of those data types? Doesn't sound like a field that should be.
