    Protect Database

    How do I lock the database? Access 2007.

    encrypt it - not sure where it is in 2007, but in 2010 you just click File then select 'Encrypt"

    Thank you for your feedback, but I don't do coding.
    Never mind, I found the encrypt option.

    There's a lot more you can do to protect a database without code (though using code would give more possibilities.

    That's fine. It just had one line on it, and it was down a ways.
    The article just go into more detail specifically about ACCDEs.
