Looking to create a backend database linked to a Sharepoint form list. Possible

My company uses Sharepoint and we have a form there that employees complete. I'd like to have those results feed into a linked, backend Sharepoint table, which then multiple users will use that data on front end databases.

    Is this realistic / possible?

    I don't follow the question.

Sharepoint allows the use of MS Access databases, but they can't (as far as I know) use any code, everything has to be run by macros. Are you saying the input is not a database, but maybe a word document or excel document and you want to strip information out of those and put them into your database?

I'm not an expert by any means with Access so I apologize if my wording is strange.

Basically, I have a form on a Sharepoint site. I'd like the form submissions to feed directly into a backend Access table. Is that possible?

if both the form and the table are in access, to my understanding, yes, it is. I have not done anything with sharepoint though so I don't know the 'how'. I would think both the front end (user interface) and the back end (data) would have to be on the sharepoint site though.

Bruno, rather than copy and paste like that, provide a link so that anyone who wishes to follow up can read the entire subject. That's especially important for where the M$ documentation or or some aspect of it is no longer supported. M$ has dropped support and capability for Access web based db's, for example.
