    Customer Entry/Find Duplicate/Similar names

The following is an example of a customer entry system which will find similar names (ie. the first character of the first name matches and the last name matches exactly.) If it does find a similar name, it opens a form which let's you select one of the similar names.

Otherwise it then searches for an exact name match and will prompt if found.

Also coded to show you the previous name you entered and also proper cases name/address fields and will set the default value of the city to the last one entered.

I hope you find this example helpful.

*** If you have problems opening the MSAccess file in the zip attachment, make sure to add this website to your intranet security in IE to be able to open any MSAccess files within a zip download.
