Text Field removal of numbers ? Left(?

    HI all,
I have a table with one of the columns that has 7300 records in it I need to remove the first 4 numbers in it. The format for it is 00 00 00 and is a text field. I need to remove the first 4 numbers and two spaces maybe in an update qry? Is there a way to do this?
    Thanks

    Dave

If the is appropriate, you can use the Mid() function to pull everything from the 5th character on. If you want to change the data in the table, yes an update query would be the way to go.
