    Office 2016 (365) with Access 2016 Click to Run install - 32bit - part 2

    Environment
    Office 2016 32 bit
    Access 2016 CTR
    Windows 7 64bit

The organisation will be upgrading from Office 2010 and Access 2010(Full version).
Currently in test is Office 2016 (Office 365) with Access 2013 Click To Run

The latest update is its decided to upgrade to Office 2016 with Access 2016 Click To Run 32bit

Regarding the installs, Ive been browsing forums.

    ---

It mentions with Access 2016 Click To Run there are install errors
eg 'We found a problem'. These posts are dated in the year 2015 and another dated Dec 2017.

    or Office compatibility issues
Installing Access runtime 2016 along with Office 365 eg
The reason for your problem is that Office 365 is Click-To-Run-based (C2R), and the Access 2016 Runtime is MSI-based, and they cannot both be installed on the same machine.

Fortunately, now that Office 2019 has been released, Microsoft also released the Office 365 Access Runtime, which is Click-To-Run-based and, thus, compatible with Office 365, Office 2016 C2R and Office 2019 (which is C2R only).

Note: Ive removed the web links references as I was getting errors posting. Note I didnt post to these websites I didnt cross-post on other sites.

    ---

Its now the year 2019 and Im assuming these install errors are resolved by Microsoft.

Are there any known issues with the install.
Any known issues with the Office Versions we would like to install and compatibility.

    Can I install Office 365 (2016) with Access 2016 Click-To-Run.

    TIA

I found the MS article regarding Office version installs. However there is no date on the article therefore I'm not sure if this article is still valid, and if there have been updates since MS posted the article.

    Howdy,

Remember too outside upgrade issues there are some dropped supported items in there, like pivot charts.

We had to redo a bunch of them when we upgraded.
