Question Access version versus Office version for VB 6.0 SP6 References

I use VB 6.0 SP6 to generate my Access Databases for Office 2007. Can anybody provide me with a list of the dbVersionNN values and which Microsoft Office /Access References are needed in VB 6.0 SP6? For example, dbVersion30 likes Microsoft Access 12.0 Object Library OR Microsoft Office 14 Object Library. Is there a correspondence between Office versions and Access Jet database engine versions? If so what are the correlations?

DEEP and cold and wet! We just went through about 5 storms that each left about 1 foot. We ran out of places to put it and had to bring in heavy equipment to move it back so we could handle the next storm. It has finally let up and only leaving 1 to 2 inches and it's warmer during the day so it melts some.

orange & Luke, Very interesting... But I can't copy the freakin' thing ( page with the info). I have win7 with the installation described above. When I create an .mdb database it tells me it's a 1997 version and I should convert. When I convert get a .accdb of that says Access 2007. I keep having to play scrabble with the References in Visual Basic to be able to reach the database. I was actually storing data yesterday, but then I ran into a problem with AllowZeroLenght crapand "fixed" my DBGenerator program to set that attribute to yes and more stuff fell on my head! Currently it keeps telling me it can't find whichever version I put into the working directory but the database is there with all the attributes I created it with. I can access it with Access.. Meanwhile, somebody is setting the Read Only attribute on my directories and random directories have a lock displayed on them! Nowhere can I find an actual description of what/why there are .mdb and .accdb databases and why "Access", "Office Access", and "Access Database Engine" have to be treated separately as References! I've been using VB & Access since 1994 (1.x database) and have dumped Win10/Office 2016 as excessive baggage, but it's very frustrating trying to keep things together!

I doubt Luke is going to change the link so just bring up the page in your browser when you need it.
