Access 2007 just told me that I can't establish any more relationships; that I have too many on a table. What's the limit? Is there a way to increase the limit? Would external links to another DB help? Thanks.

How many do you have?
Look in Access help (not VBA) and ask for specifications. I believe each relationship requires an index and the limit on a table is 32.
The only index is on the primary key in each table. I didn't realize that each foreign key in another table (each relationship) used a separate index in the primary table. I guess that's my problem. I must've reached 32. I guess I'm trying to collect too much info on people (the DB which ran out of indexes). I don't suppose moving tables to another DB & linking them would help, or that MS would ever increase the limit. I'll just have to redesign some way. It's only a learning exercise, anyway. Thanks.
I agree, it sounds like a redesign is in order.
