Form Help

im new to access, but im getting the concept of everything really quick. Ive worked with databases before using SQL for website development.


Im designing a work order program for our shop, we have a contact list(one table) a vehicle list(second table that is sharing relationship with the contact table) and a work order table a third table, i may require more tables later but for the time being this is what i require.

I got my main dialog box that has the option to create new contacts, but in that new contact window, i want another button that will open up a new window for vehicle information. when it opens up this new window i want the client_id to be taken from the the contact table and automatically put in the vehicles table. Can any help me in acheiving this?
