    Again thanks for the help.

I will give Access/VBA this - once it screws up something it does everything to keep it that way.
I tried creating a new module in the Access Navigation pane and renaming it to the missing Module name - File Not Found error again.
I am beginning to suspect that the 'file' is internal to the actual front end application as I have run searches on the drive looking for file names like the modules and the searches turn up nothing.

Just discovered something I should have noticed before:
When you delete a Module in the Access navigation pane (above) the module name disappears from the list BUT not from the VBE explorer list.
Here is a screenshot showing what I mean:

    Maybe a compact/repair would synchronize...

    Works correctly for me.
If compacting doesn't help, it may be a sign of corruption. If so try decompiling.

Thanks again for keeping your thinking caps on!
I have run multiple Compact and Repair to no avail. I have also tried doing a Compile project from within VBE - all that gets me is a File Not Found error.
After doing a compile and repair the application tries to open and then errors on trying to open the starting form.
    Darn this is frustrating!

I'm sorry I don't know what you mean by decompiling? I am working with the development files not an accde (run time version) so can you explain what you mean by that?
    Thanks for the help!
