    Tab Controls

MS Access Version 2007 running on XP-SP3. I have created a Form and on the Form I have added a Tab Control with two pages. On the first page I have added fields from one table and on the second page I have added fields from another table. These tables have a relationship on a common field. In Design View all fields are visible. When I select Form View the form goes blank. I have saved the form and and re-opened it but it still does not display. The Form will display if I only use fields from a single table. The critical point I notice is adding a field from another table. I would be very grateful if anyone has any suggestions on how I can get round this issue. Thanks Karl

Put SubForms on your tab pages, each bound to a different query of a table.

Would you be able to tell me how I can achieve your suggestion. I have attached a file to demonstrate what I have tried.

    Many thanks

What icons? Do you have a form that uses one of the tables you talked about? Can you put it on the tabbed form as a SubForm?

Many thanks for taking the time to reply. I believe that to add a Subform to an existing form, then you would go into Design mode of the existing form, click on the subform Icon (Which is found in the Design menu, under the Tools section of the Access Ribbon) and then add to the form. This is the Icon that is greyed out. Would this process be correct to add a sub form?

    Thanks in advance.

The first step would be to have a form that displays one of your tables as you desire. You would then add that form to the tabbed form as a SubForm. Do you have that 2nd form?
