    2/3 changing to ?

I have a database with 6 tables and 7 forms, which I have had running for about 10 years now. I have a custom dictionary going to replace as I type, either td or 2/3 changes to ⅔. Recently however, just after the ⅔ appears, it changes to a question mark (?). It is only happening in some of the forms and only in some of the fields, but is not happening in any of the tables. Any ideas of were I should look to correct this? I am using the same dictionary in Excel and Word and it works perfectly there.

If its a shorttext field, there shouldn't be an issue.
