"Unrecognized database format" ??? Access 2016.

Working with a form I have used 10,000 times. Now, on occasion when editing something, I get an error message stating "Unrecognized database format" and this has been happening more often lately. It is to the point where whenever I make any change I am automatically hitting the "save" icon just in case. It just happened, for example, when changing someone's name from M Smith to Michael Smith.

Any thoughts? Maybe it's just me, but while I love Access, it doesn't seem as stable as the other MS programs. I do have it compacting each time it closes.

    Thanks!

64-bit Access might be issue. I have heard it can have issues. Why did you choose 64-bit?
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
