I need help with ideas on doing software audit in our work. in ms.access. sort of automated process.

currently we are doing the following:

  1. using "winaudit" on shared folder in network, have each client run it and taking software inventory and saving it as a csv file.
  2. I collect all csv's and merge to one master excel sheet.
  3. import that excel to ms.access.
  4. run query of required fields from the access tables
  5. export back to excel

The problem with this one is, the end user's have to run the software audit , send it to me, I have to merge to one master sheet and all above steps are time consuming,

Instead I like to pull user's software inventory from my computer and send it directly to access database and run the query back and export to excel, how can I do this? any ideas. please. Thanks so much.
