Question Sending Order Confirmation SMS from Access Forms

    Hey Developers ,

I am currently working on a order management application for a distribution company , which i have created on access ,
the app works by first accepting a sales order through form 1 , then processing it through form 2 , but for extra confirmation aspect my client wants me to integrate SMS - OTP to be sent through access through which my DB will send a otp and ordered products summary to the customer and then he has to confirm the otp sent to him to the concerned staff of my client which will confirm the order and let the person process it , so that the conflicts created by customers would be minimised .

For funds they dont have any issue and can purchase any hardware or software to enable this functionality

How can I program it ?

    Please Help !

    Regards
    Apoorva Dhakad

There are a number of providers and don't make recommendations but google 'twilio' who provide this service and provide the API's you need to be able to interface with it. Depending on the type of service you contract for you can both send and receive texts.

Following on from Ajax's comment, I use Twilio for both SMS and voice messages because their api and documentation are both very good.
You may find this link useful https://www.twilio.com/blog/2013/08/...nd-access.html

However you should research the best provider for your needs.
