    Report won't generate

When I double click my report from the reports menu it won't generate the report. If I right click and go to design, then do report view it will. Any ideas on what is happening?

By reports menu you mean the list in the nav pane? Try right click and select a view (or open) from the resulting context menu. If it opens, it suggests to me there is something wrong with the double click action. Perhaps you're too fast or too slow?

Yes the Navigation pane. If i right click I can open in any view. If I double click it asks for the parameter options as it should but then never opens the report.

OK, that is an entirely different matter. Why is it asking for parameters? Those are referring to some query or form that you don't have open? AFAIK, your report should open but perhaps display no records if you don't provide the parameter values, so is there code behind the report open or load events?

It simply asks for the fiscal year beginning and ending range.

You might get some insight from this older Martin Green article on Dynamic Reports.
He basically sets up his reports and required parameters at the form level, then opens the selected report parameters and all.
